Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3 years of clerical experience
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism
  • Ability to prioritize daily work schedule and function with minimum supervision
  • Willingness/ability to be accountable for individual job duties as assigned
  • Team player that works well with others
  • Good problem solving skills, ability to think out of the box and run with the ball

Accounting Specialist/Office Assistant

Seeking individual with Accounting and Office skills to work in our office.

Qualifications:
  • Construction experience preferred.
  • Handle all aspects of accounts payables using Quickbooks Pro.
  • Other duties including processing credit card payments, bank statements and deposits.
  • Create Excel spreadsheet applications and maintain contact database.
  • Process weekly payroll data using outsource payroll service.
  • Establish rapport with vendor accounting departments to maintain good standing.
  • Prepare and process Sales Tax Reports.
  • Handle accounting for small real estate investment (Boat Storage) company’s billing and receipts.
  • Answer incoming phones as pleasant “first impression” to customers. Log and forward sales lead calls, and screen unsolicited calls.
  • Open and distribute mail. Order supplies as needed.
  • A team player possessing an assertive personality willing to assist the Owner and Office Manager is very important.
