At Houston's First, Milestones is a framework of adult discipleship that extends beyond Life Bible Studies to equip people in a particular stage or life, crisis, or in general discipleship. Milestones classes and events fall into three broad categories:
Courses centered around the following topics to provide general discipleship training for adults.
Courses designed to equip believers at various stages and seasons of life, including Single Adulthood, Covenant Marriage, Parent Path, and Leaving a Legacy.
Milestones events and classes are offered throughout the semester on various days of the week and times of day. A majority of them happen during MidLink — the name for Wednesday nights at The Loop. Use the filters below to find Milestones relevant to you, or download a PDF of the Spring 2014 Milestones Guide:
Every Wed, Apr 23-May 14
Most Milestones classes that meet during MidLink on Wednesday evenings wrap up the semester on Apr 9 — but we're not done yet! A new four-week Milestones Bonus Semester will kick off on Apr 23 that lasts through May 14.
During this bonus semester, you can attend one of four 3-week classes (Apr 23-May 7):
- How To Study Scripture
- Parenting Like You Mean It!
- Pastoring Your Street
- Crown Heart World
On the fourth week (May 14), the Houston's First family will gather for a churchwide Night of Prayer for our summer mission trips (May 14). Each week, our regular MidLink activities will continue to meet.
Visit the Milestones Bonus Semester page for details about this additional opportunity to grow your soul!
