Evangelism

We began Foundations of the Faith with a four-part series on evangelism. Just the word “evangelism” may elicit fear, awkwardness, or offensiveness to some; however, “evangelism” means practicing and spreading the Gospel, or good news, and doesn’t everybody like to hear good news? We explored the biblical mandate to be witnesses for Jesus, reflect on what it means to be an “ambassador for Christ,” learn to unleash the power of the Holy Spirit in witnessing, and be challenged with sharing with friends and family the life-changing, eternal benefits of following Jesus.
