Theraplay Parent Only Training - Rm 602

Mary Ring, MAMFC, LPC-S, LMFT-S, RPT-S, certified Theraplay® therapist and trainer, is offering a two-day workshop in Theraplay for foster/adopt parents. She has trained under Drs. Karyn Purvis & David Cross, the authors of The Connected Child. Mary Ring has worked extensively with adopted children, their families, foster care children, their foster parents and children living in overseas orphanages.
The goal of the training is to provide parent education in Theraplay so parents can provide the optimal connection experience with their child(ren). As a child learns to connect with family, it serves as a necessary template as he/she learns to develop healthy relationships with others and with God.
There will be a cost of $50 per family for this 2 day training.
Lunch will be provided.

Orphan Care Mission Trips
We believe in caring for orphans, both our own neighborhoods and around the world. There are several mission trips going on in 2012 specifically ministering to orphanages all over. Be in prayer for the trips to East Asia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Russia, and Kenya. Why the name Legacy685?
Our Father is calling His children to be the ones who will be the hands, feet, and voice of Christ to the fatherless. We are compelled to reach out in love to the fatherless because we enjoy a holy legacy of being adopted into the family of God -(Galatians 4:7). Through our spiritual adoption as sons & daughters of the King, we are loved and accepted both now and eternally. It is our privilege as Christians to pass on this legacy to our children. 685 is part of our ministry verse, Psalm 68:5-6a, God truly sets the lonely in families.

Through the ministry of adoption, foster care and going on mission trips our desire is to support, encourage and come alongside families and individuals as they seek how God is asking them to care for the fatherless.
