"Letters to God"

Houston Premiere

On Fri, Mar 5, 2010, Houston's First hosted the Houston premiere of "Letters to God" -- the latest film from the producers of "Fireproof" and "Facing The Giants." All proceeds from ticket sales were given to the Children's Cancer Hospital at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. With 1,877 ticket sold, the event raised $9,385 for the Children's Cancer Hospital and was the film's largest premiere event in the nation. The hospital plans on using the funds for their Palliative Care Program, providing services to patients and their families as they face end-of-life issues.
