The early years of marriage bring many changes and challenges. Fusion Ministries, the married young adult ministry of Houston’s First, provides three essential elements that young married couples need.
Fusion Ministries is a place where:
- Acceptance and the love of God for you is evident.
- Support and encouragement are natural by-products of relationships with other married young adults.
- Engaged couples and newly-married couples are a priority.
We believe sustained life change happens best in the context of community. Life Bible Studies are the church organized to gather our hearts, grow our souls, and give our lives away to others in and through your class. In smaller groups we discuss the challenges of life. It’s also where we pray, care for one another, and are missed if we don’t show up.

The decision to marry is one of the most important choices we make in life. Preparation for marriage involves much more than detailing a beautiful wedding. Our desire is to help you establish a marriage that will endure and that you will enjoy for a lifetime. Our Counseling Center provides engaged couples workshops or 2-on-2 mentoring. You also can become a part of our Newlywed or Close Life Bible Study.

Newlywed or Close
If you are an engaged or a newly married couple, we encourage you to attend one of our ongoing classes. These Life Bible Studies have marriage curriculum that repeats every year on Sundays. You will address topics such as communication, finances, marriage roles, sex, and family relationships all while emphasizing a strong biblical foundation for your marriage.

Big Night Out
Go out with your mate for dinner on your own or with some friends, then join us for dessert and an event that will empower and encourage your marriage -- a powerful, one night, 2 hour event for married couples, no matter where you are in your marriage or faith. It always involves lots of laughter, creative programming, relevant messages and follow-up applications that can be used in a smaller group and/or as a couple.

Give time and energy to each other 3 nights a year with themed kits to help you recreate date night in a fresh and engaging way.
