Women of Security

Women of Security is a group meeting weekly to explore new ways to grow in the security of Christ with the goal of developing a deeper inner strength. We explore the thoughts, experiences, and motives for our behavior that shape the way we interact with the world and the filter for which we view God, scripture, and salvation. The group will be using Facing Heartbreak: Steps to Recovery for Partners of Sex Addicts as curriculum for the upcoming 16-week group meetings. Wives of current and recovering sex addicts are encouraged to join in the experience of walking through the pain to come to a place of recovery for themselves during this difficult time.

Wounded Heart

Dan Allender explains that “the first great enemy to lasting change is the propensity to turn our eyes away from the wound and pretend things are fine”. The Wounded Heart by Dan Allender will guide us in exploring the damage that childhood sexual abuse can cause. A lot of the damage happens outside of our awareness. How has the abuse affected the way you relate to God and others? How has the abuse affected how you see yourself? Our hope is that this group will help expose the distorted views that are hindrances to healing. We encourage you to join if you are a person that has suffered childhood sexual abuse. Age requirement is 20 years or older.
