Houston's First invites you to observe Holy Week at The Loop, Cypress, Downtown, Sienna and Spanish Campuses. Gather with our church family as we remember Christ's sacrifice and celebrate His resurrection!
The IMAGO Arts Community at Houston's First presents this year's Holy Week art show — In His Name: Art Inspired by the Names of Jesus. You can view these original creations by amateur and professional artists when The Loop Campus building is open — Mon-Fri from 8a-10p, and Sat-Sun from 8a-9p. (The church is closed on Good Friday, Mar 25.)
At this come-and-go reception, enjoy light refreshments as you view the art show and meet the artists who created each piece. The reception takes place in the Main Foyer at The Loop Campus.
The Houston's First family from all five campuses and our guests will gather at The Loop Campus for a special worship service remembering Christ's sacrifice on the cross. Pastor Gregg and representatives from other campuses will lead us, and we will observe the Lord's Supper together. Following the service, we'll be invited to spend time in prayer around the water wall and cross tower on our own or with our family and friends.
A benevolence offering, collected each time we observe the Lord's Supper, will go to Living Water International.
Thousands of eggs will drop from the Sienna sky for children in preschool through 5th grade at the 3rd Annual Helicopter Easter Egg Drop hosted by our Sienna Campus! Free registration begins at 9a and the helicopter will arrive at 10a. Food trucks, carnival games and inflatables will add to the fun of the morning. Bring the family and invite your friends!
Single parent families will celebrate everything Easter at the Hippity Hoppin' Easter Party! Parents and children will enjoy an Easter egg hunt, carnival games, inflatables and petting zoos — including baby animals! This is a free event, but visit the event page to RSVP and to invite others!
He is risen! Celebrate Christ's resurrection with the Houston's First family at one of our five campuses on Easter Weekend, with Pastor Gregg Matte speaking at each worship service. This year's schedule includes a Saturday evening option.
We look forward to welcoming our many guests on Easter Sunday — especially the littlest ones! Make a difference that day by serving with the First Friends Preschool Ministry as a volunteer caring for children 3 years and younger. You can attend one worship service and serve at another so families can attend a service while their young children are cared for.
Contact Tonya.Nelson@HoustonsFirst.org or 713.957.7613 to take the next step toward serving with First Friends on Easter Sunday at any of our campuses.
Help decorate our five campuses on Easter weekend by donating a lily in honor or in memory of a loved one. Lilies are $12 each. Donations can be submitted online here.
