Looking for a fun place to host your next party? The Fitness & Recreation Center has plenty of space and activities for parties of all sizes! With different packages to meet your needs, the Fitness & Recreation Center can be the perfect spot for any celebration.


Reservations


To reserve the Fitness & Recreation Center for your party, you will need to print out the Party Reservation Contract and fax the completed form to 713.957.6708 or bring it in to the Fitness & Recreation Center.

What are the different package options?

Basic | party room, game area, bowling alley, and play land.
$100 (regular hours) or $200 (after hours) + reservation fee*

Lock-In | exclusive use of the entire facility.
$500 + reservation fee*

*Basic parties require a non-refundable $50 reservation fee and Lock-Ins $100.

What is the difference between “regular hours” and “after hours”?

During “regular hours”, parties will have exclusive use of the party room, but they will not have exclusive use of the other facilities. Space included is the party room, game area, bowling alley, and play land.
During “after hours” and lock-ins, parties will have exclusive use of the entire facility. Space included is the same as regular hours with the addition of one gym.

Can I reserve a gym with the Basic Party?

Friday regular hour parties do not have the option to rent a gym. However, a gym can be reserved in any other party package for an additional $50. With the gym, you will have access to recreational balls.

What times are available for parties?

Friday        3 - 5p (regular hours, no gym)
7 - 9p (after hours)
10p - 7a (lock in)
Saturday        10a - Noon (regular hours)
1 - 3p (regular hours)
4 - 6p (regular hours)
7 - 9p (after hours)
Sunday        2:30 - 4:30p (now regular hours!)


Is the Reservation Fee refundable or transferable?

No. Once the reservation fee has been paid you cannot transfer it to another party date or be reimbursed for the amount if your party is cancelled.

When do I have to pay the final amount of the party package?

The balance of the party is required 30 days prior to the event, or the event will be cancelled.

Do you give reimbursements when parties are cancelled?

That depends. If the party is cancelled 30 days or more prior to the date of the party, you will receive a full reimbursement of the party package. If you cancel your event less than 30 days prior to the event, you will receive a reimbursement of half of the party package price. If you cancel your event less than two weeks (14 days) prior to the event you will not be reimbursed at all. The reservation fee is required to reserve your party and is not refundable.

Can I transfer the reservations or rental fee to a later date?

The reservation fee cannot be transferred, however if you change the date of your party 30 days prior you may transfer the rental fee with an additional reservation fee.

What does the Fitness & Recreation Center provide for the activities?

The Fitness & Recreation Center provides bowling balls, bowling shoes, game equipment (pool, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, etc.), and recreation balls if the gym has been reserved. Tennis shoes or soft soled shoes may be substituted for bowling shoes. Flip flops and other open-toe shoes are prohibited in the bowling alley.

How much set up and clean up time will I have?

Each party receives 30 minutes before the party start time and 30 minutes after party end time. Party attendees are not allowed to be in the party area during set up and clean up. The Fitness & Recreation Center will be preparing for the next party as well and will need that space. A late fee of $50 will be charged for every 10 minutes after the party end time if party attendees do not clear the facility. Also, there will be a fine (determined by the Fitness & Recreation Center) for any damages done to the facility.

Could I have more information on the inflatable?

Yes! The inflatable is a regular square-shaped bounce house recommended for children 10 and under. It can be added to the Basic package for an additional $50.

What is the set up of the facility?

Included in the party room, usually the Harbor room, are (8) 48” round tables, (48) chairs with (6) per table, and (3) 6’ x 30” tables. Set up in the University Rm or Craft Rm (special event) will be determined per event.

What do I have to do to clean up?

Leave the facility as you found it. This includes: taking out what you brought in, throwing all trash in the appropriate dispensers, and returning furniture to its original location.

What if the head count on the day of the party is more than the head count given originally?

Parties that are during regular hours cannot exceed 40 people. If there is a chance your party will be larger than that number, you should schedule an after hours party. However, babies (newborns) and grandparents that will not be participating may be excluded in head count as long as space in party room is available. Our goal is to serve both our Fitness & Recreation members and your party guests effectively. Parties during regular hours are limited for your benefit. Reimbursements will not be given if the party count is less than expected.

How long can I wait to make my reservation?

A calendar request is made once the reservation fee ($50 for parties and $100 for lock-ins) has been received. Until payment has been made a reservation cannot be guaranteed. Our recommendation is that you pay the fee to reserve your date as soon as you know to ensure you get the preferred spot. The further in advance you make your reservation the better your chances of getting what you want.  Basic packages must be reserved at least one full week in advance.

New! Parties on Sunday!

Because you ask for it we now offer parties on Sunday! Because we are a Church and offer Sunday Bible Study at various times on Sunday, the times we can offer parties are limited. Because Chick fil A is not open on Sundays we can only offer our Basic package.
