Caroline is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Texas. Caroline has a Master of Arts Degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Austin.
Caroline has a background with play therapy and received 9 months of therapy training at the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center. Her experience in play therapy and animal assisted therapy focused on children who suffered from physical and sexual abuse and additionally group counseling with their family members. She then worked for 3 1/2 years as a case manager with foster care and adoption in a therapeutic setting.
Since joining the JPMCC Counseling Team in 2013, Caroline currently works with groups, families, couples, and additionally men and women, individually. She has a Prepare/Enrich certification and additionally a Gottman Level 1 certification. Her counseling philosophy is built upon Biblical principles, and based upon prayer, integrated with sound psychological principles.
When she is not in the office, Caroline is a volunteer writer for Mental Health America of Greater Houston. She has been published in their supported magazines and was a part of the Children's Mental Health initiative in May 2015. She additionally enjoys volunteering for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on the Membership Committee and engaging in community activities. She is a Life Member of the Texas Exes and the Dallas Theological Seminary Alumni organization and strives to support local education and connect with other professionals.
