Ron has been married to Cynthia for over 30 years. The couple has two grown children, Chet, who is a lawyer in Austin, Texas, and Colby, who is a Registered Nurse. They are waiting for the arrival of their second grandbaby soon!

Ron and Cindy served for 13 years with the International Mission Board (SBC) in Russia and in Belgium working among refugees and unreached people groups. Prior to joining the staff the Sienna Campus of Houston’s First, Ron worked in Afghanistan and Iraq with the U.S. State Department’s Provincial Reconstruction Teams assisting in governance and development. Ron enjoys fishing and restoring old cars.
