Whitney counsels from a Christian based biblical perspective and will utilize integrative, attachment, family systems, cognitive behavioral, solution focused, and person centered theories and approaches. Her own personal struggles growing up and experiences with attachment, addiction, divorce, trauma, single parent and blended families inspired her to pursue a career in the counseling field. She believes the purpose of counseling is to reach specific goals for individual, relational, and spiritual growth, which are mutually agreed upon by both the client and the counselor and that these goals should be consistent with biblical truth. Her passion stems from her love of Christ and the belief that He is the Ultimate Healer, and she desires to share that love with those who come to her seeking assistance.
