Preschool & Kindergarten

We recognize that the preschool years are filled with astounding growth and rapid development. We also recognize that this development was created by God. We know that children between birth and six years learn over half of all they will learn in life during these formative years. This is a critical time of foundation building for all that will follow.

Learning from the Bible

Every time young children come to our church, they are taught from the Bible. The smallest babies hear the comforting words, “Jesus loves you.” Older twos begin to hear simplified Bible stories as they eat a snack. Older Pre-Ks and Kindergartners hear complete Bible stories and related verses in group time. We believe that we have great opportunities to use Bible songs, verses, stories, pictures and related activities with young children to make Bible learning fun and exciting.

Sunday Bible Studies

Sunday provides one of the best times for preschoolers and kindergartners to learn and interact with other children their same age. Age-appropriate Life Bible Study is available at 8a, 9:15a, 10:45a and 4:15p, for children birth through kindergarten. Learn more on the page.

Preschool Bible Studies are available on Sundays
Heartland is an age-appropriate worship experience for PK4-PK5 (children who have not entered Kindergarten)
Kids' Worship occurs every Sunday in the Clubhouse for Kindergarten-4th grade

Wednesday Nights

		WEE WORSHIP Babies - 1s 6-7p – Preschool Suite Wee Praise gives babies through 1 year olds a chance to enjoy music and movement. They’ll wiggle ‘n’ giggle to the tunes while hear about how much Jesus loves them.
		W.O.W. (WORSHIP OUR WAY) 2s & 3s 6-7p – Preschool Suite W.O.W Choir allows the 2 and 3-year-olds to make a joyful noise to the Lord. Through movement and simple praise songs, these preschoolers will learn how to worship.
		HIGH 5 KIDS' CHOIR PreK & Kindergarten 6-7p – The Clubhouse (Rm 303) We want you and your child to be part of all the exciting happenings with High 5 Kids' Choirs! High 5 meets every Wednesday evening from 6-7p for fun and music. PreK-Kindergarten meet in The Clubhouse (Rm 303). We look for as many ways as possible to teach our High 5 kids various ways to worship the Lord with all their "hearts, minds, souls and strength," and we have a great time as we do it!
		Mission Friends Birth - Kindergarten 7-8p – Preschool Suite From babies to kindergartners, Mission Friends provides the building blocks of faith and a basic awareness of God's love for all people. Mission Friends gives the children opportunities to learn about people of other cultures and countries. The children learn about missionaries around the world and in our own country. Preschoolers pray for missionaries and learn a Bible truth each week.

Ministry Childcare

This year-round Mother’s Day Out style program is provided to meet the needs of mothers and fathers of our church, emphasizing language development and featuring a Bible story. Art, exercise, music, cooking and nature experiences are offered each session.

The Preschool and Kindergarten Ministry is always in need of men and women with a servant's heart. Opportunities to help include:

Partner with an employed teacher to teach and care of babies, crawlers, 1 year olds, 2 year olds, or 3 years olds
Care for and teach a class of children ages PreK4 or Kindergarten
Rock babies
Greet at the Preschool doors
Push a bye-bye buggy
Be a helper in PK4 worship on Sunday morning
Join a team to serve once a month caring for ages birth thru 3-year-olds
