24-year drug and alcohol addict transformed

I just wanted to let you know that my brother who lives in Miami has accepted Christ and God is transforming his life. He has struggled with drug and alcohol addiction since he was 15 years old -  he is now 39. The reason I want to share this with you is because his is one of the names I wrote on the floor of our church! - Lizette Read More

Reluctant teenager comes "freely on her own"

October 23, 2008 I wrote many names down on the worship center floor, and one of them was Jenny's. Jenny and I have an interesting relationship, and both of us got to HFBC in a kind of roundabout way. I moved to Houston last September to be a youth minister at a Catholic Church, and Jenny was a high school senior in my program. "God's faithfulness has blown me away!"

October 27, 2008 "Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. God's faithfulness has blown me away! I have prayed for my family's salvation since I accepted Christ at 14 years old. Eleven years later my mom has... Read More

I shared their names with her. These were the names that I had written on the step exactly under the place where Pastor Gregg stands to preach. I was amazed once again of God's timing. On Sunday afternoon, my youngest who is 38 called to see what was going on because he had me on his mind. Milton... Read More

Daughter rejoices with 76-year old father

October 16, 2008 Pastor Gregg,   When I was given the opportunity to write my dad’s name on the floor of the worship center, I almost didn’t do it.  I won’t lie, it seemed a little hokey to me.  I mean, I’ve been praying for my dad for years, and that wasn’t going to change.  Anyway, something told me to go ahead and do it, and I was actually a little emotional when I wrote [his initials] on the floor.   It is with joy that I inform you that yesterday, my...
