To visit the Holy Land is an amazing experience and one that can have a life-changing impact on anyone — young or old. While this trip was originally open only to families with children in 3rd grade or above at the time of the trip, it is now open to any member of the Houston's First family from any campus — singles, couples with no kids, couples with preschoolers, empty-nesters, etc. (If you wish to bring your children with you, we still ask that they at least be in 3rd grade at the time of the trip.)

The cost is $4,200 per person. This cost includes airfare, accommodations at first class hotels, motor coach transportation within Israel, meals (breakfast and dinner only), tips, taxes and entry fees. NOT included in the price: passport, baggage fees, optional trip insurance, lunches each day, and sightseeing or services other than those specifically listed in the trip itinerary.
Travel to Israel remains very safe from a tourism standpoint. From time to time, conflict within the region does change the nature of travel to/from Israel. However, thousands of tourists from all over the world continue to visit Israel every week. We are confident of a safe and fun trip for our families. Trip Insurance is available and recommended to guard against the cost of trip cancellation or delay (among other issues).
We only have about 15-20 spots remaining at this time. We invite you to come along with the 60 people already registered to go!
The itinerary for this trip was designed with kids in mind. We will see many of the most historically and biblically significant sites in all of Israel. But we will also enjoy hands-on and exciting adventures such as a trip to the top of Masada (Herod’s ancient palace), swimming in the Dead Sea and a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, just to name a few. For a detailed itinerary, download the brochure below.
We will be flying Turkish Airlines with a layover in Istanbul. Turkish Air has been voted Europe’s Best Airline and is a very popular choice for those flying to Israel. United is a partner of Turkish Air and United miles can be used for travel!
You can also choose to arrange and purchase your own airfare. The trip cost would lower to $2,896 per person for this 'land only' option.
Once you are signed up for the trip you will begin receiving a weekly blog beginning in November.
