Montrose Street Reach

Who We Are:

Montrose Street Reach, a partnership between Joe Williams Ministries and Youth With A Mission-Houston, is a Christian non-profit corporation that is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. We work in the Montrose community of Houston, Texas, in the heart of the inner city.

What We Do:

To see at-risk urban youth and older homeless transformed by transitioning them out of their current environment and equipping them to lead productive lives through Jesus Christ. As an alternative to shifting homeless people from location to location within a city, we offer to transition these homeless people into life changing programs outside of the Montrose area. This encourages a change of heart and develops productive citizens.

Get Involved:

Please pray for the street kids and older homeless:

  • that the strongholds and cycles of addiction would be broken in their lives
  • that they may lead healthy, productive lives in society

Volunteers are needed for:

  • the weekly Wednesday night Street Reach (Orientation required)
  • Friday night street evangelism (Orientation required)
  • volunteers to assist in the renovation of our facilities

Funds are needed for:

  • the ongoing operational expenses
  • the renovation of the new facilities
  • increase and expand services to street kids and older homeless
