Wired
Vision & Mission
It is our goal for students to get plugged in weekly on Wednesday nights at WIRED so that they will have the opportunity to connect with students their age and have a fresh encounter with God. WIRED is filled with games, worship, prayer, teaching, and crazy fun!
Time: 6:30-8p
Location: Rm 364
(Come early and purchase a meal ticket for $4 and eat before Wired begins.)
Our prayer is that through WIRED students will have the opportunity to grow in their walk with God, and at the same time take a break from their busy schedule to join others for a great time of fun!
iWorld
With today's speed of technology it is important for us to slow down and find a rhythm in life. Many things in this world can take our attention away from Christ. But this year in WIRED we will discuss topics that display the truth, that Christ is Supreme in everything. This year's theme for WIRED is iWorld, and it is here that we discuss issues that each Middle School Student faces.
- April: Relationships (Facebook)
- May: Miracles (webMD)
Ignition Night
Do you have what it takes for chaotic fun? Come join us the first Wednesday night of every month at 6:30p in Rm 364 for Ignition Night. Ignition Night includes a devotion from one of our adult leaders followed by all out fun, interactive games.
Wired & V43
Vision for Three is a campus outreach strategy that prepares and challenges students to be involved in the lives of unchurched friends. The desired result is that God would use our students to minister to a lost and needy world. We encourage our students to do three things: pray, serve, and invite.
Here’s how it works:
- Prayer – Students pray for the work of God in the lives of their friends. They ask God to give them and others opportunities to speak truth to them.
- Service – Students look for opportunities to serve their friends. This can be as simple as helping them with a class at school or encouraging them through a difficult time.
- Invite – Students commit to invite their friends to hear the Gospel – either through their own words and/or by bringing them to events such as Wired.
Wired Events
Throughout the year we want to provide opportunities for students to connect with others in the student ministry through WIRED events. These events include Wacky Tacky Christmas Party and Rushapalooza. Please visit the Events page for details.
