We invite you to a new and exciting Golocal Strategy that we will start implementing October 13.
Matthew 9:36-38 states, “When he (Jesus) saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
As we often hear from Pastor Jason, we are not a Bridgeland church; we are a church in Bridgeland. That being said, God has given us a culturally and religiously diverse mission field of 23,000+ homes presently filled with 50,000+ homes to be filled. As we look towards the future of our immensely diverse and rapidly growing community, the urgency for the Gospel is now. We are the laborers, and this is our harvest.
We invite you and your family to join us on Sunday, October 13, as we commit to engaging our harvest field through intentional prayer and Gospel conversations door-to-door with our neighbors. Your participation is crucial. Beginning at 4 pm in the Cypress Campus HUB, we will meet for a time of training on how to engage with our neighbors through interpersonal prayer and Gospel engagement tools. From 5-6:30 pm, we will GO amongst designated areas within Bridgeland to actively engage with our neighbors door to door.
No matter where you live, we would love for you to engage in this local mission trip. This is a chance for us, as a church, to engage with something that may be challenging and uncomfortable but also incredibly important that will impact lives for eternity.
There are a few different ways you can be a part of this:
