People Who Need Help

UPDATED: Thu, Sep 14 @ 4:45p

Home Relief

The response for clean-up and "mud out" assistance has been overwhelming given the extent of Hurricane Harvey's impact on our city. Currently, our LOVEFIRST Disaster Relief volunteers are serving over 700 homes in flood-effected areas. To effectively leverage these volunteers and our supplies, we are unable to accept new requests at this time.

There are many other groups loving our neighbors in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. Please visit the Houston Church Planting Network website for a compiled list of churches and organizations providing relief to communities throughout the greater Houston area.

Food & Clothing

Food and clothing are still available for those in need at our Food Pantry & Clothes Closet in Spring Branch. Individuals and families may stop by during their normal hours:

Food Pantry & Clothes Closet of Faith Center-Spring Branch
8244 Long Point Rd, Houston, TX 77055
Mon-Thu and Sat @ 10a-1p

Volunteering

Read below for how you can volunteer with our relief efforts. If you have additional questions, contact LOVEFIRST.Volunteers@HoustonsFirst.org.

If so — especially if you represent a church or organization who wants to send a large donation of supplies — please contact LOVEFIRST.Supplies@HoustonsFirst.org to make special delivery arrangements. Large donations might be directed to another location in Houston and not to our Faith Centers, so be sure to make arrangements in advance.

People Who Can Offer Housing

Housing may be needed for those displaced by floods and for volunteers coming to Houston from out of town. If you have available rooms to offer, please fill out this form to let us know.
