Cynthia holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in psychology, and a Master of Arts degree in counseling. She is a licensed professional counselor and supervisor in the state of Texas.
Cynthia has a passion for walking along side clients as they strive for wholeness, healing and healthy relationships. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and families and counsels from an eclectic orientation. Cynthia utilizes a combination of techniques including client-centered therapy, cognitive behavior therapy and spiritual direction. She is trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) therapy and neurofeedback. Her certifications include certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT), certified partner trauma therapist (CPTT), Prepare/Enrich and SYMBIS (saving your marriage before it starts).
Cynthia has extensive cross-cultural experience which includes 16 years of living and working abroad in Central Asia and Europe. She is married and has two adult children and two grandchildren.
