Erin has a Masters of Education in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has been counseling since 2005 in the public schools, non-profit and private practice settings.
She has extensive experience working with children and their parents, as well as, addressing grief and loss for all ages. Erin practices play therapy with children and counsels from an eclectic theoretical perspective, combining Gestalt, Adlerian, Cognitive Behavioral and expressive arts interventions with all clients. She believes that we are designed to deeply relate to God the Father in his triune personhood and to the significant people in our lives. Erin is passionate about walking alongside others in their journey to know Christ and to love others well. She believes healing comes as we awaken to the beauty and the suffering of the story He writes for us.
Erin works with children, teens and adults in individual and group settings and is a member of the Family Team. Erin also specializes in teaching parenting skills and helping families to navigate the often-overwhelming school system. She has a heart for our service men and women, as well as, those who serve our communities in law enforcement and first response capacities.
