Easter at Houston's First

Pastor Gregg Matte and the Houston's First family invite you to observe Holy Week at The Loop, Cypress, Downtown, Español and Sienna Campuses as we remember Christ's sacrifice and celebrate His resurrection! This week of remembrance and celebration includes:

Houston's First members are invited to serve as NextGen Volunteers as we welcome guests with preschoolers on Easter weekend.

IMAGO Holy Week Art Show

Apr 9-23 — The Loop Campus (Main Foyer)

The IMAGO Arts Community at Houston's First presents this year's Holy Week art show — Donum Gratia – The Gift of Grace and Mercy. Admission is free and you can view these original creations by amateur and professional artists anytime The Loop Campus building is open — Mon-Fri from 8a-10p, and Sat-Sun from 8a-9p. (The church is closed on Good Friday, Apr 14.)

Broken For You

Thu, Apr 13 @ 7p — The Loop Campus (Worship Center)

The Houston's First family from all five campuses and our guests will gather at The Loop Campus as one church united for Him in praise, prayer and preparation for Easter. Pastor Gregg and our Campus Pastors will lead us, and we will observe the Lord's Supper together. A benevolence offering, collected each time we observe the Lord's Supper, will go to Living Water International.

  • Thru The Roof available for all ages with special needs

Easter Weekend

He is risen! Celebrate Christ's resurrection with the Houston's First family at one of our five campuses on Easter Weekend, with Pastor Gregg Matte speaking at each worship service.

  • Programming for preschool and Thru The Roof (special needs) not available

SUN, APR 16

The Loop @ 8a • 9:30a • 11a • 5p

  • Four worship services with message by Pastor Gregg with worship led as follows:
    • 8a — worship led by the Choir & Orchestra
    • 9:30a — worship led by the Choir & Orchestra
    • 11a — worship led by the Choir & Orchestra
    • 5p — worship led by the Band
  • Life Bible Studies will not gather
  • Programming for ages 3 and under at each Sunday worship service
  • Thru The Roof available for all ages with special needs during the 9:30a and 11a worship services
  • Regular attenders are encouraged to gather at the 8a or 5p services (or the Saturday service at 5p) to make room for our many guests at 9:30a and 11a
  • Also, regular attenders are asked to use shuttle parking options at the three morning services as a courtesy to our guests

  • Special time — worship service @ 9:30a in the Chapel at The Loop Campus
    • The Spanish Campus will return to their usual worship time at 5p on Sun, Apr 23
  • Life Bible Studies will not gather
  • Programming available for ages 3 and under

  • Regular attenders are asked to use shuttle parking options as a courtesy to our guests
