In December of 2020, Alaina will complete her master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. She is a Level 1 Gottman Couples Therapy trainee. She enjoys working with women, couples, and adolescents who face anxiety, self-esteem issues, phase of life issues, trauma and grief. Alaina approaches therapy in a way in which the therapist’s works with the client to identify obstacles and create effective strategies for working towards their goals. Alaina believes in creativity within the therapeutic process with her clients. Alaina understands that life is difficult, and it is important to have a support system. She seeks to help every individual achieve their God given purpose.
Alaina’s professional experience includes working in non-profit organizations with women and children who have endured trauma as well completed numerous trainings in suicide, trauma, and tele-mental health.
