Anjaly is a current Mental Health and Counseling graduate student at the University of St. Thomas in Houston. She is working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. In addition to her role as a student, she has been a Campus Staff Minister with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship for 7 years. Anjaly has been directing South Asian student ministry at universities and colleges across the state of Texas and runs national leadership development projects for Intervarsity. She received her bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary studies and an ESL certification from Texas Woman's University.
Anjaly is adept in cross-cultural communication, has a heart for social justice, and values helping people. Anjaly is passionate in working with individuals, couples, and families. Areas of focus include: anxiety, depression, loneliness, grief and loss, life changes, relationship issues, and trauma. Anjaly approaches counseling with Gestalt Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
