Have you ever stopped to think about why you are a Christian? Is it just because of the environment you grew up in or some personal experiences that you’ve had? Is there any reasonable evidence that Christianity is actually true? In this course, we’ll take a look at some key historical, scientific, and philosophical arguments for the truth of Christianity, while addressing some of the strongest criticisms against it, to help you be better able to defend why you believe what you believe.

  • Week 1: Defense of the Bible
  • Week 2: Defense of Jesus’s Life, Death, Deity, and Resurrection
  • Week 3: Creation & Human Existence
  • Week 4: Human Value, Morality, & Purpose
  • Week 5: Christianity’s Greatest Challenge: Suffering

Teachers

James Lucas - I am married to Hannah, with two children, James Jr. and William. Through PLACE and a series of other events, God has revealed to me my passion for the Truth. I want to use the gifts, passions, and opportunities God has given me to spread His Truth wherever I can.

Brian Burkhart - I am an Aggie married to a Longhorn (Katie Burkhart) with 3 boys Jonah, Levi, and Paxton. With 3 children under the age of 5, I am asked lots of interesting questions! I have a passion for seeking Biblical/truthful answers to the toughest questions in the world today.
