Summer Reading Challenge 2020!

Surprise! Summer Reading Challenge is back. Things will be different this year, as everything in our world looks a bit different.

CornerBooks Library has created three different challenges, based upon age:

We challenge you not only in the content that you are reading, but in a few other areas around the house, neighborhood and the world in which you impact.

Current Reading Challenge (July 16–31):

Complete any open spaces left on your Challenge Chart. All submissions for the summer are due by August 7, 2020 to Corner.Books.Library@HoustonsFirst.org.

You may also link to our recommended reading files if you need help coming up with a book for a particular category. You may not have the exact book at home, but it is our prayer that these ideas will spark an idea in your head of a book you may access nearby. To view our Recommended Reading lists by age group go to: https://cornerbookslibrary.goalexandria.com/ and click SRC. We will send out a system wide email to notify everyone of our opening date for CornerBooks Library.

From now until July 31st, we will be issuing a bi-weekly challenge, encouraging you to send your scanned challenge sheet to Corner.Books.Library@HoustonsFirst.org or post pictures on social media, tagging CornerBooks, to share the ways in which you are participating in the Summer Reading Challenge at CornerBooks Library.

Happy reading, healthy reading, summer reading – all part of COVID Summer Survival 2020. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
