Roadmap To Reunion Volunteers

Volunteer at your campus

Houston's First will welcome people back to in-person worship services the weekend of May 30 & 31! You can be part of this exciting Reunion Weekend and the weeks ahead by serving at your campus in one of several roles.


Volunteer Roles

Roles might vary by campus, but here are some you can choose from as we welcome people back to Houston's First. (NOTE: Staff members need to sign up using the form for your campus, but you will be placed in specific roles by campus leaders.)

  • Parking Lot Attendants - greet and guide vehicles as they arrive
  • Exterior Greeters - welcome people as they approach the building
  • Building Door Greeters - hold the door open and welcome and guide people as they enter
  • PPE Providers - distribute masks and other supplies as needed
  • People Movers - guide people as they move around the building
  • Worship Center Greeters - welcome people into the Worship Center
  • Worship Center Ushers - help with seating and ensure social distancing
  • Medical Team - provide medical support as needed

Volunteer Requirements

  • You must be 18 years old or older to volunteer.
    • No minors may serve, even with a parent or guardian.
    • Childcare is not available.
  • Those 65 or older or with underlying health issues are encouraged not to serve.
    • This is in line with what we are telling people about attending our worship services when they begin.
  • Each volunteer must complete the registration form linked below.
    • Spouses who are serving must complete the form separately.
  • All volunteers will be required to wear masks while serving.
    • You can bring your own, or the church will provide one if needed.
  • Your campus will follow-up with you about next steps.
    • This includes information about the schedule, training, etc.
    • All volunteers will be provided with a T-shirt to wear while serving.
