Boundaries

Teacher: Justin Bond

About the Teacher

My name is Justin Bond, I am working on my masters in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling at Lamar University. I married my high school sweetheart after graduating from A&M. My wife then went on to UTMB and now works for Texas Children's Hospital. We have two children, a daughter Caroline who is 3 and a son Colton who is 8 months old. We both grew up in the Sugar Land area and have lived in Richmond/Rosenberg for the past 6 years. I finished my undergraduate at Texas A&M with a B.S. and went on to become a marine biologist for the state of Texas. I currently teach middle school at St. Laurence in Sugar Land. I also serve as the sponsor for around 120 students who provide community service through the school and church. My wife and I are active in our church in Rosenberg where we teach Sunday school and Christian Formation classes. My main areas of interest are in working with teens and young adults as well as groups. My theoretical approach is Integrative or Holistic focusing on Cognitive/Behavioral and humanistic therapy. I am open to learning from many counselors and working with a variety of clients.
