20 Days of Bible Reading

Pastor Gregg and Houston's First encourage you to prepare yourself spiritually and practically for the 2020 elections this fall. One way you can do that is by participating in the 20 Days of Bible Reading running from Oct 14-Nov 2. Together, the Houston's First family will read through the entire Bible multiple times leading up to Election Day on Tue, Nov 3.

God's Word has played a defining role in the United States as author Robert Morgan recently talked about in a Real Life. Real People. interview at our church. We pray that as the Bible is read in its entirety, God's Word will play a defining role in the 2020 elections, too.

How It Works

Sign-up here for the scriptures you plan to read over those 20 days. More than one person, couple, or family will be able to sign up for each section.

Daily Reading Plans

Once you've signed up for a section of scripture using the button above, you can find a daily reading plan for your scriptures using the tabs below. Access the daily reading plans here each day, or download the PDF provided for each one.

The Influence of God's Word

Director of Missions Clark Reynolds sat down with Dr. Robert J. Morgan, author of 100 Bible Verses That Made America and many other books, to talk about the influence of God's Word on the United States. Dr. Morgan was also our guest speaker on July 5, 2020, with a message called "I Have Found The Book!"
