First Friends Early Learning is a year-round Mother’s Day Out style program for children 6 weeks old through 5 years old. We offer play-based and Biblically-focused activities with age-appropriate academic enrichment.

The purpose of the First Friends Early Learning is to provide a program where students can develop spiritually, cognitively and socially in a safe and loving environment.

School Year Registration

Registration for the 2022-2023 school:

• 2–DAY ONLY — For 2-day only registration, register here.
• 1–DAY ONLY & WAITLIST — For waitlist registrations and families requesting 1-day options, register here.

Fees & Rates (effective Sep 1, 2022)

• All costs below are based per child. Completing the Registration Form and paying Administration Fee ensures a spot on the waitlist. When a spot is available, you will be notified and a $100 deposit is required.
• A $50 administration fee will be paid by all families who desire to register for the FFEL program whether a spot is available or not. The administration fee is non-refundable.
• The $100 deposit to secure your child’s spot in a classroom is non-refundable.
• If a spot is available for your child for the 2022–2023 school year, you will be prompted to pay the $100 deposit at the end of registration. This non-refundable deposit will secure your child’s spot in the program and will be applied to September’s tuition.
• Please note: 2-day enrollments will receive priority enrollment. Families that desire 1-day options will automatically be placed on the waitlist.
• The remaining September tuition will be due Thursday, Sep 1.
• Complete Scholarship Forms must be submitted by May 15.

Monthly Tuition Rates

• 2 days (Tue & Thu) a week — $320/mo
• 1 day (Tue or Thu) a week — $175/mo

Discounts

Effective Thursday, Sep 1, 2022, a 10% sibling discount will be applied to the additional child’s tuition (example: 1st child: $320, 2nd child: $288).

Payments

Monthly tuition payments for First Friends Early Learning are due by the 1st of each month. Failure to pay tuition will result in the loss of your child's spot in the program.

Withdrawal Policy

You may withdraw at any time with a 30-day written notice. Withdrawals with less than a 30-day written notification will be responsible for the next month's tuition.

Late Pickup Policy

A $1 per minute fee will be charged for children picked up after 2:15p.

Please keep in mind

• Each month is the same tuition.
• First Friends Early Learning is NOT prorated for absences or weather related closures.
• Refunds for classroom closures due to any communicable illness will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

FFEL Summer Camp

Currently enrolled families will receive priority Summer Camp 2022 registration. Availability inquires for non-enrolled families may be requested after May 15th, 2022 to Megan.Pavelka@HoustonsFirst.org.

Summer Camp will run:

• June 7–16
• Closed for VBS (June 20–23)
• June 28–Aug 4 (closed July 5)
