Josephine is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas. She has a Master of Education in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in World Cultures and Literatures, with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies, from the University of Houston. She desires to work with a diverse population of clients from different backgrounds and stages of life: children, adolescents, adults, and couples and marriages.
Josephine strives to build a genuine and trusted relationship with the client. She primarily goes by the cognitive-behavioral approach to therapy, in which the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interrelated, and incorporates other therapies as needed, with a biblical perspective. She works together with the client to reach greater life outcomes, in healing and restoration, finding meaning and purpose that God has planned for every individual.
