Preschool (Babies–PreK)
The First Friends Ministry recognizes that the preschool years are filled with astounding growth and rapid development. We also recognize that this development was created by God. We know that children between birth and six years learn over half of all they will learn in life during these formative years. This is a critical time of foundation building for all that will follow.
Learning from the Bible
Every time young children come to our church, they are taught from the Bible. The smallest babies hear the comforting words, “Jesus loves you.” Older twos begin to hear simplified Bible stories as they eat a snack. Older Pre-Ks and Kindergartners hear complete Bible stories and related verses in group time. We believe that we have great opportunities to use Bible songs, verses, stories, pictures and related activities with young children to make Bible learning fun and exciting.
Children (K–5th Grade)
The First Kids Ministry serves kindergarten through fifth graders and their parents. Our mission is to reach children, teach children, and equip children to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ our King and Savior. Our mission is lived out through our strategic values. Our values are strategic in that they are specifically focused with the purpose of becoming our identity. We value…
- Parents as the primary disciplers of their children. Our role is secondary and viewed as a partnership.
- Children having a relationship with Jesus that enables them to make wise choices according to scripture.
- The role and importance of children being confident in prayer, worship, missions, and sharing the Good News with their friends.

Life Bible Studies

Kids' Worship (K–3rd Grade)
Kids' Worship is a fun and exciting worship opportunity designed for younger kids. Kids will learn to participate in age-appropriate worship packed with Bible lessons, music, and activities that reinforce the biblical content and helps move kids toward congregational worship with their family.
Family Worship (4th–5th Grade)
Leading kids to worship their heavenly Father is one of the greatest privileges and responsibility of any parent. We encourage kids’ families to worship together each week during the 11a Worship Service. “My Worship Notes” are available to help kids focus and receive Pastor Greggs main points each Sunday.
