Yeşu Chum began his journey at Houston's First Baptist Church as a part-time Children's Ministry Coordinator in the fall of 2021. In this capacity, Yeşu provided production support for kids' worship services on Sundays and kids' choir on Wednesdays.

Transitioning to a full-time role in November 2022 as Children's Ministry Associate, Yeşu's responsibilities expanded to include support for ministry leaders, planning special events, and managing the ministry's check-in process on Sundays. This role not only involved logistical planning and coordination but also a hands-on approach to ensuring smooth operations during church services and events.

In late February 2024, Yeşu moved to his current position as a Member Services Associate, where he now primarily focus on ROCK Support and lead special projects related to the church database system. This shift to a technology-focused role leverages Yeşu's interest and proficiency in computer systems, a skill-set that became clear to him through his time managing the children's ministry check-in process.

Outside of work, Yeşu enjoys playing the guitar and spending time with his family.
