We are excited to share with you that our Costa Rica applications are now LIVE! This year, we will be returning to Jaco, Costa Rica, June 6-12, to work alongside InStep Ministries. During our time together, we will work with 2 different church partners on the ground as well as multiple schools in the Jaco area.

Last year, we had the chance to witness to over 700 kids, men, and women in the Jaco area. This year, we expect to expand our reach even farther by loving the people, serving the community, and encouraging the church.

Here are some of the things you'll need to know:

Cost of the Trip

• Non-refundable Deposit: $215 (The deposit includes a non-refundable deposit that we give to United on your behalf)
• Student Raises: $1,935
• Total Cost: $2,150

This is an all-inclusive cost, minus airport meals, extra coffees and souvenirs.

Last year, we had an amazing response with many of our students fundraising. Once approved for your trip, you will be able to send a personalized link to your friends and family to help you fundraise for your trip.

Important Dates

• Wed, Feb 5 — Registration & $200 Deposit Due
• Mar 30 — $1,075 cumulative total due
• April 27 — $1,612.50 cumulative total due
• May 25 — $2,150 cumulative total due

Meeting dates

• Sun, Feb 15 at 4p
• Sun, Mar 2 at 4p
• Sun, Apr 6 at 4p
• Sun, May 4 at 4p
• Sun, June 1 at 4p (mandatory final meeting, prayer time with families)

Students may miss one meeting. Meetings will last no more than 1.5 hours.

Requirements to Attend

• Regular attender of Houston's First - Cypress Student Ministry
• Must behave in a manner that reflects Christ and our ministry partners
• Must attend Costa Rica team meetings
• Must have a valid U.S. Passport that does not expire before December 2025 (6 months from trip).
