Looking to take the next step in your missional discipleship? Rushmore is your next step! Rushmore is a mission trip to New York City and Washington D.C. On this trip you’ll partner with NAMB church-planters who are uniquely engaging their city for Jesus.
This trip will require you to share the Gospel through standing on street corners with free coffee or having conversations with people on the Subway. This fun and encouraging trip will bring you deeper in your own relationship with Jesus while showing and sharing Him to the multi-cultural communities in New York and Washington D.C.
Applications are available to 10th-12th grade students. Join the team today to see God work in new ways in and through you!
Rushmore is $1,950 per person. This cost covers all travel, lodging, meals, missions, and fun experiences for Rushmore
We encourage students to fundraise 100% of their HUB Mission Trips. One way is to send “Support Request Letters” to family and friends. This is a great way to invite others around you to join you on your trip via prayer and funding. (See a sample letter below) Another way to fund HUB Mission Trips is through the Matching Program. Students who earn money can take those funds and apply them to their total cost of Rushmore. These “Worked/Earned” funds will then be Matched by The HUB. (Matching Program form must be turned in with funds to be matched - see form below) A third way to fundraise for Rushmore is to send a “Support Me” link from your Go Method account once you’re added to the trip. Share this link on Instagram, Facebook, and more to connect with family & friends to join you through support on this trip!
Cypress students will go to Washington DC. Sienna and Downtown students will go to New York City. Loop students will be divided evenly between New York City and Washington D.C. (Most first year Rushmore students from the Loop will go to NYC)
Students and leaders will fly from Houston to either New York City or Washington D.C. Once they have arrived in their city they will use local transportation, subway, bus, and walking to navigate the city.
Rushmore students stay in a bunk-style accommodations where students will have their own bed in a room with other students and a leader.
Majority of our meals are catered or students are able to order for themselves. (Please contact your Student Minister for details)
