SuperStart is a high-energy, intentionally crafted weekend event for preteens to hear the gospel, learn Biblical truths, and be called to a life of Kingdom Work.
This year’s theme is “Shaped,” where we’ll explore the incredible truth that our lives are molded by the choices we make, the people we surround ourselves with, and, most importantly, by the hands of God.
We are Shaped daily by our experiences, relationships, and environment. However, the most powerful Shaping comes from God, who has crafted each of us with a unique purpose for His Kingdom.
Your preteens will learn how to evaluate the different influences in their lives and lean into God’s Shaping process, allowing Him to mold their hearts and minds for the work He has planned for them.
We’ll be teaching all of this through an exciting competition called the “Shaped Challenge,” where students will compete to accomplish outrageous challenges that are guaranteed to create lots of laughs.

Where: The MET Church (carpooling from Cypress campus)
Time: Friday 6-10p, Saturday 8a-2p
After the 12p dismissal on Saturday, January 25, we will have a Plug N’ Play fellowship time in partnership with the MET Church. A pizza lunch will be provided. You are welcome to pick up your preteen from the MET Church or meet us back at the Cypress Campus.
We would also love to have you join us as a volunteer. Volunteers must be a Church Member and have 6 months of Active involvement in an LBS Class to signup.

SuperStart is a gospel-centered weekend event for 4th- 5th graders.
We will carpool using Pathmaker and staff vehicles both Friday and Saturday.
A backpack with a bible, pen, journal, water bottle, and a jacket.
We will have dinner for your preteen when they check in Friday night and lunch during our Plug N' Play time at the MET Church. Please feed your preteen breakfast before dropping them off Saturday morning.
We will leave from the Cypress Campus at 6:00p.
No, we want your Preteen to be distracted free to make the most of what SuperStart has to offer.
The SuperStart Store will be open before and after each session. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted.
We will have Pathmakers coming with us! If you are interested in being a Pathmaker please contact Patrick Simpson.
Yes, we will be texting parents updates during the event; ETA back to Cypress Friday night/Saturday afternoon etc.
