In response to a rapid increase in COVID-19 cases in the greater Houston area and advisories from local and state leaders related to large group gatherings, Houston's First is temporarily suspending in-person worship services and Life Bible Studies at all of our campuses for the weekends of June 27 & 28 and July 4 & 5.
Worship services return to every campus of Houston's First on May 30 & 31 — the first stop on our Roadmap To Reunion!
Seating in the worship services will be limited for now to allow for social distancing, so as Pastor Gregg says above, we're asking you to save a seat at the worship services you plan to attend each week — beginning with Reunion Weekend. You'll be able to save your seats at worship services beginning at 10a on the Monday before.
Our on-campus worship service schedule beginning the weekend of May 30 & 31 is as follows:
Saturdays @ 5p & 7p
Sundays @ 9:15a, 11a & 12:30p
Choose one of the following platforms for joining in as we worship together on Sundays at 9a, 11a, or 5p (Central).
You can also listen the service each Sunday at 11a on the radio on KHCB 105.7FM.
Choose one of the following platforms to listen to and familiarize yourself with the songs we'll sing as we worship through music on Sunday. (Parents – let your children learn the songs, too!)
If you don't have a Bible with you, we recommend using one of these online versions.
Download the Message Notes for note-taking on Sunday. FYI: The Church Online platform for viewing the service includes a "Notes" tab where you can type notes as you listen to the message.
FirstKids provides this one-page sheet so children can engage with the worship service! Print it out for use at home or to bring with you to an in-person service at your campus. This or similar sheets will be available at your campus, too.
Whether you attend Houston's First all the time or are gathering with us for the first time, complete our Welcome Card to tell us who you are, where you're watching from, and ask any questions you might have about Houston's First or the Christian faith.
