The Mothership is a twice per month group for moms of teens and tweens where we learn how to better disciple our children through speakers and group discussions. Topics will include apologetics, mental health, technology, and social media.

Abide: A Study of 1, 2, & 3 John

Sheepdog Church Security

Wednesdays, Aug 14–Sept 25 @ 6:30–8p

Sheepdog Church Security will prepare lay leaders and provide the tools necessary for implementing a church safety plan. The training will be realistic and tailored toward the needs and size of the Sienna campus. The training will be conducted as a “train the trainer” so that future training can be accomplished by trained volunteers that have already completed the class.

CPR Certification and AED Training are included. These trainings will be presented by Sterling Medical and will be for a total of 3 hours. You must register and attend the training for all 3 hours to receive the CPR Certificate.

Cultivate Connection: Empowering Parents to Empower Children

Wednesdays, Aug 14–Nov 20 @ 6:30–8p

Join us as we go on a deep dive into the building blocks of a flourishing family. The Cultivate Connection course gives helpful parenting practices and strategies for kids of all ages, with plenty of time to discuss ideas and ask questions along the way. These practical skills are rooted in research on brain based parenting, attachment, trauma, sensory processing, and more. The purpose of Cultivate Connection is to empower parents and caregivers to be confident, calm, curious, compassionate and connected

Old Testament Survey

Wednesdays, Aug 14–Nov 20 @ 6:30–8p

Old Testament — More than just a survey of the contents of the OT books, this course will focus on fitting the different parts of the OT into the overall storyline of the Bible. We’ll explore how the history, promises, covenants, and prophecies of the OT play an indispensable part in God’s big plan of redemption that he is accomplishing in Christ by the Spirit. There will also be a focus each week on how to handle some of the OT’s more difficult passages and themes.
