FAQs

Yes! We will have a Tacky Prom Dance during one of our nights together, and we want to encourage you to go all in and participate! Dress your tackiest!

To ensure adequate time, we will meet at Houston’s First - Cypress at 5p, and plan to leave by 5:30p. Please eat a dinner BEFORE you arrive at the church. A snack will be provided later that evening at Cho Yeh.

Students are allowed one item to take on the bus (backpack), one trash bag to place sleeping bag/sheets/pillow in, and one suitcase/duffle bag to place your clothing. Remember… it’s one weekend! Not a week!

Our students will stay in bunk-style cabins that will be accompanied by 2 Safeguarding-approved adult leaders. Read more about our Safeguarding process HERE.

Yes! We will provide three different spots to request a friend to room with. Please know that rooming requests are not guaranteed, but we will try our hardest to make sure everybody is with their friends. Rooming requests will be given preference for visitors. Most rooms will be split by grade.

We understand that there are other things that go on. You can let us know about your schedule adjustments HERE.

We understand that $200 ($160 early bird) is a lot of money, especially with more than one student in the ministry! This is the per person cost that the camp charges us, and the church pays for all of the speakers, band, production, transportation, supplies for the weekend and adult leaders to make sure our students stay safe.

There are funds that have been set aside for scholarships, and we urge you to submit your scholarship request sooner rather than later. Please request a scholarship HERE, as we never want a financial burden to be the reason that you don’t attend one of our trips!

We want to do everything we can to create the least amount of distractions as possible. Because of this, we will be asking that students not bring their phone on this trip. If a phone is found, it will be confiscated and returned at the conclusion of the trip. Parents can reach out to our staff by contacting the phone numbers that will be provided at a later date.

We will be bringing a registered nurse on this trip to help make sure that students are receiving the appropriate medications. Specific instructions for packing your meds will be sent to all registrants at a later date.

There is a gift shop/snack shack on the premises but this is completely optional. Please plan accordingly if your student would like to purchase snacks during free time or additional merch.
