Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. On Fri, Feb 8, 2019, churches from all around the world will come together to host Night to Shine. Houston’s First is excited to be a part of this effort! This is a night not only for guests to shine, but for churches, volunteers and — most importantly — for Christ to shine.
While our special friends are attending the Night to Shine prom, their parents are invited to join us for a special respite event just for them. The Respite Event will be collocated with the Night to Shine Event. The second floor of the facility will be open for parents only, where several fun activities and food will be offered. From this area parents will be able to observe guests on the dance floor and other Night to Shine activities taking place on the first floor. Due to our safety policy, parents will not be permitted into the Night to Shine event itself. While parents will not be allowed to take pictures of guests, professional photographers will be at the event and at a later time we will provide access to those pictures. Childcare will not be provided.
There are two additional forms that are MANDATORY in order to attend Night to Shine. These forms are the Liability and Media Release forms. If they are not complete prior to the event, attendees will be required to sign these before they are permitted entrance. We encourage you to complete them now to avoid any delays.
