Abide: A Study of 1, 2, & 3 John

Tuesdays, Jan 14–Apr 1 @ 10a-12p — Sienna Campus

Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you." - 1 John 2:24

How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In these three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us, as well.

Join us for this 10-session Bible study by Jen Wilkin on the letters of 1, 2, and 3 John. We'll see how 2,000 years later, John's words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth. Study includes daily personal study and weekly video and small group discussion.

Like Mary, you long to sit at the Lord's feet . . . but the daily demands of a busy world just won't leave you alone. But all of us, Marys and Marthas alike, can draw closer to our Lord: deepening our devotion, strengthening our service, and doing both with less stress and greater joy. Join us for this 10-week book study with live teaching as we learn to choose "what is better"-a joyful life of intimacy with Him that flows naturally into loving service.
