Encountering God – Bible Study Book: Cultivating Habits of Faith Through the Spiritual Disciplines

Tuesdays, June 18-July 30 @ 10a–12p — Offsite

Spiritual disciplines are essential to a more vibrant spiritual life and knowing God more intimately.

In this 7-session Bible study by Kelly Minter, we'll unpack the biblical foundation for these sacred habits along with approachable ways to practice disciplines like prayer, study, worship, rest, simplicity, generosity, celebration, and many more. Instead of being just one more thing on your to-do list, we’ll find that these habits of faith can actually create more margin in our lives—providing peace and rest as we walk closer with Jesus. Study includes daily personal study, as well as weekly video gathering and small group discussion.

Required Workbook: $18

Childcare available for birth - 5th grade on campus for a fee.

Abide: A Study of 1, 2, & 3 John

Saturdays, June 8–Aug 10 @ 8a–9:30a — Offsite

Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you." - 1 John 2:24

How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In these three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us, as well.

Join us for this 10-session Bible study by Jen Wilkin on the letters of 1, 2, and 3 John. We'll see how 2,000 years later, John's words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth. Study includes daily personal study and weekly video and small group discussion.

Required Workbook: $26
