A Night of Worship Volunteers

The Cypress Campus of Houston's First is hosting A Night of Worship with Beth Moore on Thu, Nov 8, at 6:30-9p. All 1,700 free tickets have been claimed, with over 50% of them going to people outside of Houston's First. We look forward to welcoming so many guests to our campus!

To make the evening a success for Living Proof, our church, and our many guests, we need volunteers to serve in a variety of roles. Look over the information below and let us know how you'll help us make a great First impression on Thu, Nov 8!

NOTE: If you already have tickets to the event, we will have a section reserved inside the Worship Center and Overflow Rooms (wherever your tickets are located) where volunteers can sit after they are done serving. If you do not have a ticket and sign up to serve, there is no guarantee that you will be able to sit inside the Worship Center or Overflow Rooms once the event begins.

Roles

There are five roles we'll need to fill at A Night of Worship. Read over each one — including the time you would need to arrive at the Cypress Campus. We'll need that time together to touch base and review any last minute updates before getting into our positions to serve our guests.

Parking

• arrive by 4:45p; be in your position by 5p
• direct vehicles where to park, including in Bridgeland High School lots adjacent to the church

Building Door Greeters

• arrive by 4:45p; be in your position by 5p
• welcome people to our church as they enter the building

Main Foyer Greeters

• arrive by 4:45p; be in your position by 5p
• welcome people and provide directions and answers to their questions

Ticket Scanners

• arrive by 5p; be in your position by 5:30p
• using your personal mobile device, scan tickets as people enter the Worship Center or Overflow Rooms; instructions will be provided

Ushers

• arrive by 5p; be in your position by 5:30p
• help ensure that every seat is used and provide answers to questions as needed

Schedule

Here's what Thu, Nov 8, will look like:

• 5p — Parking, Building Door Greeters, and Main Foyer Greeters in position
• 5:30p — Ticket Scanners and Ushers in position
• 6p — Doors open to the Worship Center and Overflow Rooms
• 6:30-9p — A Night of Worship with Beth Moore

Training

To free up our time the night of the event, we will handle our volunteer training at two separate training sessions before Thu, Nov 8. On the volunteer sign-up form, you will select which of the two session you plan to attend.
