The Special Needs Assistant will assist the Minister of Special Needs Families in the areas of developing, implementing, and overseeing all areas of programming and education for children and adults with special needs and their families. It will also recruit, train, and schedule volunteers as well as help manage part-time employees and interns. Position requires the ability to carry out a broad range of assignments at any given time and at times with minimal or no supervision.

The Ministry Assistant provides essential administrative and ministry support to the Pastoral Care Ministries of the church. This role assists pastoral care ministries, volunteers, and church members through compassionate communication, the coordination of care efforts, and the management of ministry operations. Responsibilities include coordinating fellowship events, managing communications and volunteers, handling financial processes, and maintaining supplies for care-related programs. With a heart for service and strong organizational skills, the Ministry Assistant plays a vital role in extending Christ's care and compassion by supporting individuals and families during hospitalization, grief, crisis, and spiritual need.

The Local Missions Facilities Director oversees maintenance, care, renovation and construction for the 4 Local Missions properties (Faith Centers) operating under Houston's First Baptist Church; including overseeing location grounds, maintenance, repair work, renovation of existing facilities, construction of new facilities, facility budgets, security, and vehicle fleet (currently 5 vehicles). Candidates should have a love for Jesus and have a deep desire to care for facilities that are used for effective Great Commission ministry programming.

The Special Needs Ministry Caregiver leads and manages a classroom of children with special needs. Helps to meet the primary needs of each learner: snacks/water, restroom, health, sensory, and spiritual. Facilitates Bible story, activities and scripture verse. Assists each Youth Buddy to successfully pair with their learner, and models proper assistance, if needed.

The Minister of Missions and Connection is responsible for creating and developing a culture of mobilization for the Sienna Campus in leading our church family to give their lives away locally, nationally and internationally. The goal is to equip and mobilize each member to live out the Great Commission. The Minister of Missions and Connection will plan and oversee all local outreach efforts and mission trips. In addition, at the discretion of the Campus Pastor, ministerial staff will facilitate and conduct functions such as funerals, weddings, baptisms and occasionally preach.

The Production Associate is responsible for assisting in the oversight of all Production aspects at the Cypress Campus and will report to the Cypress Production Director. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the therapist helps create individualized treatment plans that honor each family’s story and foster opportunities for deep healing and connection.
