We Love CFISD!

We love CFISD!

The Cypress Campus of Houston's First Baptist Church opened in 2013, but we've been part of the community for countless years as members of our church have called Cypress home for decades. One way we express our love for the community and our local schools is by praying on your behalf!

Sundays Online or On Campus

You have two options when it comes to worshipping with Houston's First each Sunday!

  • ON CAMPUS — gather at the Cypress Campus of Houston's First on Sundays at 9:30a or 11a at 11011 Mason Road next to Bridgeland High School. Learn here about Life Bible Study options and NextGen programming for Preschool, Children, and Students at the Cypress Campus.
  • ONLINE — tune in at 9:15a, 11a, or 5p each Sunday for worship services live from The Loop Campus on our three streaming platforms. Find everything you need to know about connecting online on our Sunday Toolkit!

Houston's First & CFISD

When our Cypress Campus opened, we met each Sunday at Smith Middle School for four years. In 2017, we moved into our own facility next door to Bridgeland High School on Mason Road. We have continued to stay connected with CFISD in numerous ways:

  • We partner with three schools through CFISD's Adopt-A-School program — Sheridan Elementary School, Wells Elementary School, and Bridgeland High School.
  • Our campus has provided meeting space when needed for area schools, including Bridgeland High School's inaugural Bear Necessities, Cy-Ranch High School's awards ceremony, various booster club meetings, and other events.
  • Our members participate in a backpack drive in which they collect backpacks and supplies for local ministry partners and The Mansions at Hastings Green, a local apartment community.
  • Our campus has sponsored CFISD schools' athletic and fine arts programs, as well as special events like the Candy Cane Fun Run benefitting Salyards Middle School and Ault, Keith, and Swenke Elementary Schools, and the CFISD Superintendent's Fun Run.

We look forward to the opportunities ahead of us this academic year. Any time you have a prayer request to pass along, please do so and know that we will pray on your behalf!
