Funerals & Memorial Services

Pastoral Care assists families in coordinating and officiating funerals or memorial services following the loss of a loved one. Whether the family decides to use First Baptist facilities or not, we are available to assist in their honoring their loved one.

We help the family secure ministers, music selections, and provide sound/video assistance. We coordinate receptions following the service. Services are held in the Chapel or Worship Center (depending on capacity) and receptions in the Reception Room or larger area if necessary.

Journeying Through Grief

Journeying Through Grief is a ministry of Pastoral Care that walks with family members and close friends through the loss of a loved one. It consists of four booklets sent out over the course of the first year following the death. There is no charge for this resource and our desire is to provide them to all who need help walking through the grief process. Please complete the form below.
