Courtney is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She received a Master of Arts degree in Christian Counseling from Houston Baptist University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She and her husband have been married since 2004, and enjoy making a home with their enthusiastic children. Courtney is a women’s speaker and the author of the women’s Bible study, Preoccupied with Promise, in which her heart is to lead women to grasp what it means to know—really know— the gift God has for them.
Courtney comes alongside women on issues of relationships, spiritual life/faith concerns, anxiety, depression and life transitions. She enjoys working with parents (including soon-to-be parents) on parenting skills, confidence and attachment. She also works with couples seeking to enrich their marriages. Courtney works with each client on individual goals, helping to tether every goal and desire to God’s unfailing Word.
Counseling from cognitive behavioral therapy and narrative therapy approaches, she desires to provide a safe place to work through hurts, disappointments and vision for the future. Courtney believes in God’s compassionate power to redeem every chapter in a client’s storyline, ultimately finding they can live in hopeful anticipation of what the Lord has for them even in the process of healing.
