Our women’s team will partner with global workers who are serving women in this key city. This trip is sensitive in nature and will require team training and preparation.

Puerto Rico is a beautiful island but also an island in need—physically, economically, and spiritually. Send Relief began responding to the needs in Puerto Rico after a series of natural disasters. Our mission team will mainly engage in light construction repair, community outreach, prayer walking, meal distribution, and more. This trip is being led by Pursuit LBS class and is open to Summit Young Adults.

Caring for Global Worker families is essential to their long-term work on the field. Our missionary care team is taking a trip to East Africa to serve global worker (Third Culture Kids) kids at a bi-annual conference for Sub-Saharan global worker families. We are looking for people who love children and want to use their gifts to serve global worker families. Our team will provide teaching and engaging activities for children and teenagers.

Houston’s First college students are partnering with Kings Hill Church to serve the Greater Boston area in Jesus’ name. Do you like adventure, traveling to rural areas, meeting friendly people, and aren’t afraid to try new things? If so, the New Ground Team might be for you! Team members must complete training in EV, cross-cultural engagement, and more. The New Ground Team is all about immersing yourself in a new culture while sowing gospel seeds in areas of the world where the gospel has yet to have been proclaimed.

Guatemala is a beautiful country with significant spiritual and physical needs. We are looking for doctors, nurses, physical therapists, dentists, and bilingual translators to serve families in the rural areas of Guatemala. We will partner with Agape in Action to provide medical clinics in areas of need.

Legacy 68:5— the adoption, foster care, and kinship care ministry of Houston’s First is partnering with Vida Real Church and Alianza Cristiana Para Los Huérfanos to strengthen and equip foster families in Guatemala. This trip is available to Legacy 68:5 families or volunteers who are bilingual, have completed training, and have been approved for service.

Ever wonder what Christianity looks like around the world? Do you want to see how other cultures worship and share Jesus? HUB International is the best way to experience overseas missions and how God's Kingdom is growing around the world. 11th & 12th Grade students have the opportunity to partner with Oakham Baptist Church in Oakham, Rutland (2 hours north of London) in June! Students will learn what it looks like to be a follower of Jesus in a post-Christian culture, share their faith in different environments and locations, and experience church in very different ways!

This team will work alongside a Global Worker Family and Centro Agape, a local church in Palermo, Italy. The team will lead a three-day VBS, host two community outreach events, and evangelize at the University of Palermo. Their mission is part of a long-term partnership between HFBC Cypress Campus and the global workers in Palermo, aimed at making disciples, church planting, and strengthening local churches. This group of 11-12th graders will work alongside InStep International and Yellow River Church, a local church in Jaco, Costa Rica. This team will partner with Yellow River Church to host community outreach events, partner with local schools for evangelistic teaching lessons, and do local work projects in Jaco. Their mission is part of a long-term partnership between HFBC-Cypress and InStep-International Costa Rica, aimed at strengthening local pastors, churches, and families.

Be part of a team focusing on service projects for Alaskan residents who camp on the Cook Inlet beaches at the Kenai River during the height of salmon fishing season. This ministry approach is gentle servanthood and meeting needs through various methods including kids club, prayer walking, traffic control, trash pick-up, and serving food. We are honored to partner with the International Mission Board’s Asia Member Care Team at their Asia affinity’s general meeting, as they strive to provide proactive wellness checks for their global worker units. On this trip, our primary tasks are to encourage the global workers and to assist the Member Care Team in conducting 30 minute, 3 times a day wellness checks for Asia global workers, the result of which will be providing the IMB Member Care Team with feedback from the wellness checks resulting in an opportunity for both proactive and reactive follow up. We will be given a basic template for how to best conduct wellness checks, but we will also provide a great deal of training to equip the team in how to relate to and care for these workers throughout and beyond the wellness checks.

While in Montana we will provide some much-needed Missionary Care to the full-time staff at YWAM Lakeside during their annual staff retreat. Our group will be divided into two teams: Kitchen/Hospitality Team – this team will serve the YWAM staff by running the kitchen each day. Childcare/VBS Team – this team will provide childcare to the YWAM staff during the retreat for ages birth thru 5th grade. VBS curriculum, playing game, making arts and crafts, etc. will be provided to the staff children. All team members must be Safeguarding screened prior to joining the team.

The purpose is to support the revitalizing of several of our Southern Baptist Churches within the Maine Baptist Association. We will be partnering and working alongside 4-6 local churches. The team will follow the lead of these partner churches during their revitalization process - community outreach, church gatherings, conferences/seminars, prayer initiatives… As we serve alongside our brothers and sisters in Maine we hope to gain tools that will train us in our mission here at HFBC.

This team will partner with Alianza Cristiana para los Huerfanos, a crucial missions partner in the work of caring for vulnerable children throughout Latin America. The team will lead and help create a welcoming space at the ACH conference where attendees can receive prayer and encouragement. ACH’s mission and vision is to equip the church and society to love like Christ as they serve vulnerable children and families, working to highlight the inherent dignity of individuals as reflections of God’s image.

There is a disciple-making movement occurring in this region of South Asia. The team will go to strengthen that effort by proclaiming the Gospel and training local believers to make disciples.
