God uses Houston's First members and friends to feed and clothe more than 400 families & 1400 individuals monthly. Volunteers needed for computer check-in, witnessing, organizing, distribution and assisting guests. Donations are welcome (tax-deductible). For more information about volunteering please contact us below.
NOTE: We are not receiving clothing donations at the time.
Food and clothing donations are always welcomed (tax deductible) during operating hours. In addition, each Life Bible Study class is asked to bring a specific food item the first Sunday of each month.
Donations can be dropped of at the Food Pantry & Clothes Closet (8244 Long Point Rd) Mon-Thu @ 10a–1p, and Sat @ 10a–1p. The Food Pantry & Clothes Closet is closed on Sundays and Fridays.
Donations can also be dropped off at the Missions & Connection Center at The Loop campus — 7401 Katy Fwy.
The Clothes Closet is always taking donations — but sometimes, we need some items more than others. Here are our current immediate needs:

Saturday Kids' Club provides a place every Saturday morning to hear God's Word, make crafts, sing songs, play games, eat snacks — and have lots of fun!
The apartment ministry allows youth that live at the apartment complex to come and get help with homework. Snacks and drinks are provided.
We are looking for college students who have completed at least one year of school and want to have a rewarding summer working with kids who need to hear the gospel. Also teachers who have the summer off or are not teaching anymore are a great as well. To learn more, click here.

The Faith Center also has a computer ministry where Houston's First members and friends donate used personal computers and volunteers use the computers in whole or in part to furnish other ministries around the world with usable computer systems. This ministry also teaches local residents computer classes in conjunction with the English as a Second Language program.
The Faith Center - Spring Branch is still much more. You can also participate in these additional services to help meet your needs.
The Faith Center is an extension of the ministry of Houston's First Baptist Church. Through many diverse programs, the Faith Center serves thousands of people every month to meet their needs physically and spiritually. The Faith Center has many opportunities for Houston's First members to join them in what God is doing there.
