Carolina is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Texas. She earned a Masters in Social Work degree from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of arts in Psychology from Texas Tech University. Carolina's career has focused on families and children. She has worked with adoptive families, foster families, and families whose children have experienced different types of trauma and the impact of such. She also has worked with individuals dealing with ADHD, anxiety, grief, and depression. She is passionate about trauma prevention, diversity, and nature as a form of healing. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Carolina is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which uses cognitive (thoughts) behavioral (actions) interventions to treat trauma in children and adolescents. Carolina uses a person- centered approach to therapy. She feels honored to be part of the healing process for many as they walk through therapy. She believes that the love of God through the Holy Spirit provides the healing of the soul.
