Other Training
As a counselor, David hopes to aid others in overcoming the painful challenges of life through the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy model during the course of the therapeutic relationship, with the objective to provide tools to help my clients improve emotional regulation, and develop coping strategies to target their current living situations.
With couples, David desires to encourage a deeper understanding of a “US” identity using research-based techniques as a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator or Symbis Assessment. He also focuses on tools such as those provided by The Gottman Institute, and other tools to dive into the intimacy of the couple and provide resources to strengthen their relationship. David has experience working in couples who are surviving extramarital affairs, or the loss of family members.
Outside of the counseling world, David appreciates the benefits of exercise through biking, hiking, he also enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors also has a passion for cooking and baking.
